Hello everyone,
I can’t believe it is already mid-September! To kick off this autumn season, I have some exciting shows and painting workshops that I would love to share with you about.
The Grand Reveal 2018 is just around the corner!
I have spent the last 6 months painting for this event, and I can’t wait to share all I have been creating. I have kept all of my plein air paintings top secret (even from my roommates, my mom and social media!). On the day of the show opening I will give an artist talk, and there will be snacks and wine tasting as well!
There will be a special opening and artist reception on October 14th from 2pm-5pm where everyone who pre-purchased paintings will be able to see them for the first time and take them home (at the end of the show at 5pm).
There are also many new unreserved paintings that will be for sale and showing for the first time as well.
The Grand Reveal will be held at the same location last year - Anam Cara Cellars in Newberg, Oregon.
In Other News...
I will be having a special showing of the The Golden Hour Series this winter!
These paintings are some of my most loved paintings that I have created this year. During the golden hours of the day, there is something interesting that happens… the colors are warm and the light sparkles through the trees. This series of paintings is me exploring this feeling with paint. I am excited for the opportunity to share all I have been learning with you in my new artwork!
This show will be taking place at the lovely Bush Barn Art Gallery in Salem, OR from November 10th through December 23rd.

Here are the two classes I am offering this fall:
Plein Air in the Vineyard (Newberg) - Saturday, October 20th
Here we will be painting outside at Nicholas Vineyards in acrylic paint on canvas. I will lead a step-by-step on how to paint a scene outside! I will be supplying all of the canvas, easels and paint unless you have specific supplies you would like to bring from home. In addition to painting, there will be wine tasting and a tour of the vineyard! (max. 18 people) cost: $50
Painting Florals from Life in Watercolor (Newberg) - Saturday, November 17th
In this class I will be demonstrating how to paint floral and botanicals from life en plein air. I will be sharing a couple of my watercolor techniques for artists at beginners level through advanced. Everyone will be able to choose some fresh cut flowers from Ufloras selection to paint from, and take them home as well as their new artwork! I will be supplying all of the great quality art supplies you will need to create your works of art. (max. 10 people) cost: $50
